Handling & storage
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from moisture and alkalis, in tightly sealed 50 kg bags; prolonged exposure to humidity causes slow hydrolysis to ammonium sulphate and loss of assay. Sulfamic acid is corrosive to skin, eyes, and mucous membranes — wear acid-resistant gloves, chemical splash goggles, and an appropriate dust respirator during handling. Consult the SDS before use. Do not store near nitrites or chlorates, as contact can generate hazardous gases.
