Handling & storage
Store in a dry, covered area away from direct sunlight and ignition sources. HDPE scrap is a thermoplastic with a softening point in the range of 120–130 °C; avoid prolonged exposure to elevated ambient temperatures or open flame. Dust generated during grinding or pneumatic conveying may be a respiratory irritant — use dust masks or respirators rated to EN 149 / IS 9473 and ensure adequate ventilation in enclosed processing environments. No special flammability or reactivity hazards apply under normal ambient storage conditions; HDPE is classified as combustible but not spontaneously ignitable.

What is the typical melt flow index (MFI) range of this reprocessed HDPE scrap?
MFI can vary batch to batch as this is a reprocessed grade. A TDS with lot-specific test data is available on request prior to purchase, which we recommend reviewing before use in a controlled process.
Is this material suitable for food-contact applications?
No. Reprocessed HDPE scrap is not certified for food-contact use. It is intended for industrial applications such as blow moulding of non-food containers, pipes, and structural parts.
What packaging and minimum order quantity is available?
