Handling & storage
Store in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and ignition sources; granules should be kept in sealed bags or covered containers to prevent moisture ingress and contamination. Reprocessed HDPE is classified as a non-hazardous thermoplastic under normal handling conditions. Fine dust or particulates generated during handling, conveying, or processing should not be inhaled; ensure adequate ventilation in processing and storage areas. No special fire-suppression requirements beyond standard precautions for combustible thermoplastic materials.
