Handling & storage
Soda Ash Light is a moderately alkaline material (approximately pH 11.6 at 1% solution); avoid prolonged skin and eye contact, and wear dust masks when handling the fine powder in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces to prevent respiratory irritation. Store in a cool, dry, covered area away from acids and moisture to prevent caking and absorption of CO2. Consult the SDS before handling.
