Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite is a corrosive, oxidising solution classified as a skin and eye irritant/corrosive (GHS05, GHS07, GHS09). Store in cool, shaded conditions below 25 °C, away from acids, ammonia compounds, organic materials, and direct sunlight, in HDPE or lined FRP containers only — avoid metal contact, which accelerates decomposition and can release chlorine gas. Never mix with acids or reducing agents. Use appropriate PPE (chemical-resistant gloves, face shield, and protective clothing) when handling. Consult the SDS before use.
