Handling & storage
Sodium hypochlorite solution is a corrosive oxidising agent (UN 1791, Class 8 with oxidising properties); store in a cool, dark, well-ventilated area below 25 °C, away from acids, ammonia, and reducing agents, in dedicated HDPE or FRP containers — avoid contact with metals, which accelerate decomposition. Do not seal containers airtight as chlorine gas may build up. Wear appropriate PPE including chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection, and face shield when handling. Consult the SDS before use.
Questions
About Industrial Sodium Hypochlorite Chemical
What is the available chlorine concentration of this grade?
This industrial grade is supplied at 12% available chlorine (w/v). Concentration declines over time due to decomposition; store below 25 °C and use within the recommended shelf life — typically 60–90 days from the date of manufacture.
What pack sizes and delivery options are available?
Supply is available in carboys, HDPE drums, and ISO tank or bulk tanker quantities for pan-India delivery. Export orders are also accommodated. Contact us for a indicative freight-inclusive quote; formal quotes are provided within 24 hours.
Are TDS, SDS, and COA documents available?
Yes — Technical Data Sheet, Safety Data Sheet, and Certificate of Analysis are available on request for every batch supplied.
